Crock Appleton Valley 2 Gallon

Salt glazed and decorated two gallon stoneware crock, possibly from the Appleton Valley area in Wisconsin. It is unsigned. This piece was sold in the 1996 Jeff Skou auction, lot 220. Somebody please identify this potter!
