3 Gallon Butter Churn Bachelder

Salt glazed and decorated three gallon stoneware butter churn from C. Bachelder in Menasha, Wisconsin. It is incised "OHIO STONE MANUFACTURED BY, C. BACHELDER MENASHA WIS." highlighted with a cobalt wash in the stamp. This piece was sold in the 1996 Jeff Skou auction, lot 233.
