C Hermann 3 Gallon Ovoid Jug

The decoration on this early Milwaukee jug is rather simple but has nice color and the shape of the jug is deeply ovoid. It is stamped in an oval C. HERMANN & CO. MILWAUKEE with a cobalt wash. Sold in the 1996 Jeff Skou auction, lot 108.
