6 Gallon Charles Hermann, Milwaukee WI Butter Churn

This is a 6 gallon decorated marked butter churn is from the Charles Hermann, Stoneware Factory, Milwaukee, WI 1870's era. WHat makes this one unusual is the fact that the decoration is both stencil and hand brushed. (JFS collection)
